ENTRY #4

Hey everyone! So today I received a gift in the mail from the school nurse. I am a type 1 diabetic so I actually see the nurse twice everyday during the school year. Her name is Jackie and she's great! She's always positive and puts a smile on my face everyday! Obviously Jackie is extremely caring just for the fact that she would send me a gift through the mail with an encouraging card to go with it.

The book is: "Chicken Soup for the Teenage Soul" I haven't read it yet (other than the synopsis), but I have heard that it's chalk-full of uplifting (and relatable) stories. I am looking forward to it for sure. If anyone has read it I would love to hear opinions/reviews in the comments. Just no spoilers please.

Quote on card: "If everyone were the same, the world would be a pretty boring place. Be proud of what makes YOU stand out from the crowd. We are."  Let me know what you guys think about that.
